Thank You Irene...

          Goodbye shrimp.  Goodbye ground beef, ice cream, hot dogs, strawberries, whipped cream, yummy beer bread I just made, butter, eggs, milk, condiments, and everything else that resides in my fridge.  Why?  Because I have no power, not for just a few hours but so far a day and according to UI my electricity provider, it could be a WEEK until it comes back on!  All I want is to cook some hot food, is that too much to ask?  I don't like cereal and I'm tired of Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches.  No stove, Internet, microwave, laundry, lights, or cable until they can get their act together. 

          This is what I woke up to yesterday morning, smh.  Luckily it went back down by the end of the day so my bedroom didn't flood.  But stuff like this along with a boring job, makes me hate living in CT by myself...
